Regular events give us the opportunity to show some results of our educational work. The pupils gain more confidence while the school gets a closer contact with the parents and the public. An important happening for the pupils is the “great-morning-gathering” which takes place every Thursday. The classes 1 to 8 gather in our “cabana“ to recite their morning poems together and to present music, poems, exercises or plays which they have praticed during the week. At events for parents or other people, the pupils present as well pieces of music or little theatre performances, for example on Mother’s Day, St. John, St. Michael and Christmas. Classes which have rehearsed a theatre play perform it in front of the school community. The kindergarten occasionally invites the children’s families to watch little puppet shows or to go for the lantern walk. From time to time teachers and students leave the facilities of the school to perform at other places. Our music students have already played several times in the village of Serra Grande and the last 8th grade staged its theater play in Itacaré and Salvador!
