Most of our children come from a social and economical background which doesn’t allow them to develop their full potential, and most of our parents haven’t received a proper school education either. Therefore we have have a high number of pupils with learning difficulties, caused by physical, emotional and intellectual deficits. The school helps these children in many ways: they receive a healthy and consistent meal every day, the teachers try to administrate the variety of intellectual levels in their classes demanding different tasks according to the students’ abilities, and those children who have extreme difficulties or still can’t read and write receive extra lessons with a specialized teacher. In these small groups, the students train their physical balance, motor skills and memory, calculate using little objects and practice written and oral language in a vivid and imaginative way, with the patient help of the teacher.
