At waldorf schools the pupils are tutored from 1st to 8th grade by one and the same class teacher, who gives all main contents like Portuguese, Mathematics, Science, History and Geography. The teacher therefore develops a very close relationship to the children and can take special care of each of his pupils. The class forms a strong unity, having the class teacher as its main reference and being also supported by the teachers of the other subjects, like Music, English, Craftwork, Gardening and Woodwork.
