Due to the fact that the Escola Rural Dendê da Serra does not receive any govermental support and most of the families have a very low income and aren’t able to pay a school fee, our association depends on sponsors and donators to cover all the costs. The main issue which our school has to face are the monthly expenses for salaries, food, materials etc., and this is why we need a high number of regular donators to rely on. For higher investments, however, which cannot be included in our monthly budget, we need the help of other project partners. Thanks to various generous partners and financiers, we have been able to make many important improvements in the school, building up the basic structure needed for a consistent waldorf education. To give our students the teaching quality they actually need for an adequate development under the given conditions, however, we still need many important items that we will only achieve finding new project partners and donators.
